Beryl Brenner

Beryl Brenner received her BA in Fine Arts '71 and her MA in Art-Ed '74 from Brooklyn College. She originally began her career as a painter and then experimented with numerous other media such as wood, drawing, printing, collage, metal, clay and glass. She has explored a wide variety of concepts and techniques in producing this work. She continues to strive to develop new ideas and new ways of presenting them through her work. Her work has been shown in numerous galleries and several museums across America. In addition, Ms. Brenner's professional journey included serving as director of an Arts Center at Ft. Hamilton Army Base for 12 years and working an art therapist for the VA for 28 years. Because 2026 marks the 250 anniversary of America she has chosen to submit works that she created that celebrate the Park designs of the great Frederick Law Olmsted who is the father of landscape architecture. He designed works in 48 of the 50 states.
