Stephen Breslow

I received an MFA form Queens College, CUNY, primarily as a printmaker. Like many current printmakers, my printmaking method is now on the computer. All of my pictures are based on my original sketches, usually pencil or pen, scanned into the computer, and then completed, stroke by stroke, with a stylus and tablet. Minimal, if any, computer generated effects are employed. I am just drawing. The pictures seek to retain the sense of detail, light and shadow, coplor and concern for an inner feeling that was always what I sought in my earlier prints. The pictures that are printed from my completed computer files are now my original artworks, my own personal expression, and hopefully convey a unique point of view. All pictures sold are hand-signed.
