Notes
I am intrigued with the ways in which the arts collaborate with the sciences; how our emotions, spiritual perceptions, and rational thought intersect in a beautiful matrix worthy of our observation and contemplation. That is the crux of my creative pursuits, most recently expressed through several series of paintings. The three watercolors submitted for The Idaherma Museum of Art online exhibit are from my series “The Wild Garden,” which embodies my commitment to convey the wonders and awe inherent in the natural world, and the ways nature awakens our ability to perceive the extraordinary all around us.
