As an artist I work simultaneously in different processes at the same time. This may seem disjointed but the bodies of work I produce in each may extend over long periods of years before I exhaust the ideas or they morph into other distinct bodies of work. Collage has always been my favorite method of art making since I was child and each body of work is essentially based in collage. Rather than starting with a fixed idea of an end product and using the process to bring that idea to life, I work intuitively and in constant response to the materials. This creative dance allows the process to reveal a narrative to me which becomes the basis for a series of work.
